The Mildred Cursh Foundation

The Mildred Cursh Foundation is a non-profit organization located in Venice, CA. The Foundation was established in 2002 in honor of Mildred Cursh Reynolds, who was an inspirational figure in the Oakwood neighborhood of Venice, CA.
She helped develop the Concerned Parents Group as well as the Oakwood Beautification Committee. She was extremely dedicated to outreach work throughout the neighborhood and worked closely with Councilwoman Ruth Galanter. The organization's purpose is to offer support to the families of prisoners and mentor their children who are living in difficult conditions.

We are currently accepting registration for the 2008-2009 after-school program (The Companion Youth Learning Project). Click here for more information!
